Membership Freeze (15-day notice required)

The Month-to-Month membership provides some of the greatest flexibility in the fitness industry. All that is required is written notice at least 15 days prior to the commencement of your desired Freeze period. Membership Freeze periods are by calendar month.

I have an injury. We can place your membership on a Medical Freeze for a maximum of six months. Click Here to visit and complete our simple and quick online freeze request. Be sure to include your name as it appears on your membership account, the length of time (by calendar month), and that the reason is Medical.

I am traveling. We can place your membership on Retention (not available for Pre-Paid Memberships). There is a very modest fee, but this will preserve the investment you made in your enrollment fee and will maintain your current monthly dues. Click Here to visit and complete our simple and quick online freeze request. Be sure to include your name as it appears on your membership account and that the reason is Traveling. Be sure to include the length of time (by calendar month).

Timing of 15-Day Notice:

To keep things simple, all members have the same billing dateā€”the 1st of each month. This means that you would need to provide 15-Days Written Notice by roughly the middle of the month in order for the Membership Freeze to be effective by the next month.

COMMON FREEZE QUESTIONS

1. How long can I freeze my membership?
A Medical Freeze, which has no cost, has a limit of 6 months. For Retention there is no limit, but we do need to know the end date of your freeze.
2. How much does Retention cost?
It's only $5 per month to place your membership on Retention.
3. Do I need to return my Key Fob?
No, you should hold on to your key fob. But it will not function until your membership is reactivated.
4. How much of a notice is required to freeze my billing?
We require a 15-day notice prior to your billing date to Freeze your Membership.
5. What if I want to return sooner or extend it longer than I first scheduled?
You can fill out another Freeze Request and we can change the reactivation date for you.
6. Can I freeze my membership from the 10th of January to the 15th of March?
Month-to-Month Memberships are by calendar month, therefore we can only Freeze a membership by calendar month. For instance, January, February and March.
